Along the way, master pianists from all genres discuss how each instrument has a personality of its own. If you've ever known a pianist who simply refuses to play on a certain instrument and you can't understand why, this is the documentary that may help you understand them better. (Okay, so it won't explain ALL of my quirkiness, but it will give you some insight into the musical process.) You will come to see the craftsmanship that is so highly prized in the Steinway; the personal attention that is given each instrument is what makes them so unique and the finest instruments available bar none.
